National Association of District Supervisors of Foreign Languages

I need some info (article, digest or whatever) I can give to administrators/parents to explain English literacy development in a one way Chinese immersion program (starting in K with 80% of day in Chinese).  I need something to defend how these students are going to learn to read in English when there isn't a transfer of literacy skills like there is in a Spanish immersion program.  I know it will work, but I need proof.
