Distance Options for World Languages (specifically Arabic and Chinese)

We are currently handling some requests to accept online/distance options for students who wish to take languages other than those offered at most of our campuses.   In my district, we offer 8 different languages, however, the majority of those languages are offered only at our Global Languages Academy).  Our district policy, as I suspect is the case for most districts, requires that any courses must be approved based on alignment with state curriculum standards, as well as our district curriculum.  Of course, both of those sets of standards are based on the ACTFL standards.  Can anyone share with me any online or distance opportunities that you offer in your district which have been approved based on their alignment with standards?  Specifically, I am looking at Arab Academy (www.arabacademy.com) and Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth Chinese Intermediate Levels I - IV and Advanced Level I.  However, we do field requests for other languages such as German, Hindi, and have even had one request for Sanskrit.

Thank you,

Sandy
