Sustainability has more than one metric---
I don't know if it's just me, but I'm finding that just like our students, our teachers learn & grow at different rates. I have a level 2 curriculum/exam writing team that has simply stopped moving forward. Their products this year were a regression--not all the way back to BG, but a definite drop from the material they worked with in the past (in terms of being pedagogically sound and in line w/ the district philosophy of language teaching). This is the part of implementation of a curriculum plan that reminds me of housework. I'll be redefining my revision/rewriting process both this summer & next school year--maybe we have all become somewhat jaded and blase--time to spice it up a bit--BAM!!
