National Association of District Supervisors of Foreign Languages

As an older person without portfolio and retired, I have lots of time on my hands to ask "thought questions" such as the title of my note today implies.  I would like to ask those presently in NADSFL leadership positions if the time has come to revisit the Characteristics that many of us had a great part in formulating and reformulating in 1991 (Opryland) and 1998, respectively.  It would be a worthwhile activity, in my view, to update such important contributions to the profession.  I appreciate your responses.  Have a great day.   Paul

Paul, I think it would be a good idea to review the Characteristics... document. Reference could be made to some of the recent position statements that ACTFL has released (target language use, technology, etc.).
