Projects that focus on the proposal that benefit the membership and/or the foreign language profession will receive priority consideration although all proposals will be welcomed. In general, the maximum grant award is $250.

ACTFL Scholarships & Grants

programs provide educators with the flexibility to implement and expand programs that build upon the strengths of linguistically and culturally diverse students with the goal of helping them achieve to high academic standards.

provide grants to implement schoolwide bilingual
education programs (including dual language education programs) or
schoolwide special alternative instruction programs for reforming,
restructuring, and upgrading all relevant programs and operations,
within an individual school, that serve all or virtually all limited
English proficient (LEP) children and youth in one or more schools with
significant concentrations of these children and youth.
