- What is the current focus of your work?
- Trying to get all language teachers on equal footing. Giving all students, no matter which language the same opportunity to become proficient. Also, pushing for more language in the K-8 classrooms where we currently only offer Spanish.
- What are your three areas of expertise (for sharing with other members)?
- 3 areas? Good classroom organizational skills, cooperative and supportive classrooms, student travel.
- What is your greatest area of concern for your district?
- We do not have supervisors who evaluate our teachers. I feel that we do not encourage best practice nor keep up with the best pedagogy of languages.
